When we have faith in ourselves, obstacles can not block our path ਮੰਨੈ ਪਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ Mannai paṯ sio pargat jāe. When we believe in ourselves, we are honoured. ਮੰਨੈ ਮਗੁ ਨ ਚਲੈ ਪੰਥੁ ॥ Mannai mag na cẖalai panth. When we have faith in ourselves, we do not need any empty religious rituals. ਮੰਨੈ ਧਰਮ ਸੇਤੀ ਸਨਬੰਧੁ ॥ Mannai ḏẖaram seṯī sanbanḏẖ. Believing in ourselves becomes our true religion. ਐਸਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ Aisā nām niranjan hoe. Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord. ਜੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਨਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਨਿ ਕੋਇ ॥੧੪॥ Je ko man jāṇai man koe. Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. --- UNDERSTANDING THE MANTRA --- In our journey of this life on earth, little do we find time to sit, listen, understand and reflect. We loose our path & go astray from our Home - Our Original Real Self. Living in this illusionary , glamorous world of distractions, we forget our real essential self. We can all find the path to that destination when we listen deeply to the divine sound resonating within. Our inner intuition. Deep listening leads to understanding & knowledge of ourselves, of our purpose on this earth. Then the journey within starts. This journey is towards our real home. Our Essential self is all peace, joy, love, kindness, truth. When we have faith within, the obstacles on the way (the worldly pleasures, desires, lust, greed, ego) cannot block our way.
