ICEVI - The Nippon Foundation supported Mathematics Project - Chronology

The Nippon Foundation is supporting ICEVI in implementing a project on higher education for visually impaired students in the East Asia region. The Math project is part of the higher education project to prepare video instructional materials in mathematics to teach visually impaired children at the primary and secondary levels. The project believes that effective teaching of mathematics to visually impaired children will help them to study science related courses at the higher level and the knowledge in mathematics is also imperative in augmenting their employment opportunities. This video explains the chronological development of the Math initiative. The objective of this project is to prepare at least 150 videos by 2020.
