War Thunder. 15 min of doing nothing and still winning the entire match without firing a single shot

Me basically running away like a coward and refusing to fight a spitfire bcz he has same energy as me and dogfighting that thing in my mind with a 109 is an instant loss. How to improve or avoid these situations? pls leave advice in comments. I know my 109 is an energy fighter at best and boom and zoom is the way to go. But how when my opponent has same alt and speed and is less than a km away from me and all bcz spitfires at these rank have amazing climb rate. Note: I am playing a completely stock BF 109 G-10. To save your time I highly recommend increasing the play speed of the video and also, btw Music: Misha Dioxin - Arrival
