Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Another round of snow will move in for Thursday. Snow will be arriving before sunrise for many locations. Expect some issues with travel through the day, and plan on extra time for that morning commute and the evening commute. We'll have area-wide snow adding up to 2-5 inches across northern Ohio by Thursday evening. Temps will push the 30 degree mark, so the snow won't be quite as light and fluffy as it's been and should have higher water content with it toward the afternoon. This should make things a bit slushier on roads. Attention then turns toward the weekend. We'll have a huge area of cold, frigid air diving into the northern U.S. this weekend, and this will move in behind our next system. We've been tracking this for several days now, but the path of the low continues to fluctuate as expected. For now, we're expecting mainly wet snow to move in Friday night into Saturday with snow showers and windy, cold conditions returning on Sunday. Temperatures will likely be falling through the day on Saturday as snow accumulates. This will be a day for a Weather Impact Alert. Depending on the exact track this system takes, 3-5+ inches could be possible. We'll definitely keep an eye on this one. Bitterly cold air then flows into much of the eastern 2/3 of the United States early next week. We're looking to have a two-day stretch where temps may not get above 10 degrees!
