Day 3 of the 18th session of UNIDO's General Conference

Titled “Industry 2030 – Innovate. Connect. Transform our Future.”, the 18th Session of UNIDO’s General Conference takes place from 3 to 7 November 2019 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In addition to its policy making function, the General Conference will highlight successful partnerships and technical cooperation achievements, also through an interactive exhibition that will focus on today’s most relevant topics for UNIDO Member States, including Gender, Circular Economy, Youth and Entrepreneurship, Industry 4.0, Industrial Parks, and Sustainable Energy. Seven different thematic hubs with innovative formats will be featured that will offer a full-immersion experience to all participants. For this special occasion, hundreds of participants will gather from all over the globe – including Heads of State, ministers and high-level government officials, senior representatives from UN organizations, prominent leaders from the private sector, civil society and academia.
