Broadway’s SIX The Musical + Giving Back to Cancer Survivors | Survivor Weekend in NYC & NJ

This weekend was one I’ll never forget 💛 I had the absolute joy of going to see SIX The Musical on Broadway — a special gift connected to my appearance on The Sherri Show. Theater has always been a huge part of my life, and getting to experience this show meant everything to me and my family. Moments like this remind me how important joy, celebration, and living fully are after cancer. That same weekend, I also had the honor of volunteering with Glamming The Warrior (GTW) — an incredible Northern New Jersey nonprofit that provides a completely free wellness weekend for cancer survivors, thrivers, warriors, and even providers. GTW gives participants a chance to rest, be pampered, and just be — with services like: ✨ Yoga & wellness sessions ✨ Massages & therapy ✨ Hair, nails, and beauty services ✨ Gym memberships & self-care resources ✨ A professional photoshoot ✨ And a powerful celebration gala I was a Warrior in Year 3 of this organization, and the experience truly changed my life. Being surrounded by other survivors and feeling cared for by complete strangers reminded me that community is everything. Now, I’m grateful to give back and help this organization grow so more warriors can experience the same love and support. Joy and advocacy can exist in the same space. Healing and celebration can happen together.
