a more detailed explanation on how to enter: the day that I went was the first time they were doing a realistic version of their opening day (June 6th), so the way they run things in the end might still change! however, if it's run similarly, then the only way you'll have a reasonable chance to enter is by lining up at the gates as early as you possibly can. the second you scan your Disney sea ticket, you have to click on one of the four fantasy springs rides and open up the standby tickets. if you are one of the first few people to enter, you might have the luxury of choice & be able to pick the frozen or Peter Pan ride! Those are definitely the two most popular ones, however, I will say that the Peter Pan ride has been breaking down a lot! I'm not sure if they're tweaking things or if it's unstable, but it might be a safer option to go with frozen! If you're not one of the first few people to enter, you should definitely just pick one of the rides that has the earliest entrance times! I originally thought the paid Disney premier access passes would be better, but it actually takes too much time to get, so the free standby passes offer a much better chance! They actually held another soft opening day today (the 29th), and it was actually even worse today lol DPA was sold out by 8:20 am, the frozen ride's standby passes were also sold out at 8:20 am, and the other rides' standby passes sold out at 8:50 am. Emporio gift shop standby passes sold out at 8:35 am. If you enter fantasy springs before noon, go check the hotel area to see if you can get a pass to enter the gift shop! If it's past noon, I'm not sure if there will be any left. Apparnetly, they started handing out the timed passes at 10:30 am, but I can't 100% confirm that! also just as a note, having a standby ticket is not the same as a fast pass! the standby ticket just allows you to join the line for the ride. Only Disney premier access acts as a fast pass. You'll still have to wait in line for your ride. The busy buggies tinker bell ride usually had a 100 minute queue for some reason!! While you're in the area, keep checking the restaurants to see if there is a mobile order spot available! you have to be very fast because the spots will disappear within seconds! As long as you pass through the time options, you'll have plenty of time to look at the menu and order, so don't worry about that! I'm really hoping they'll just open the restaurants up without requiring mobile orders, but it's unlikely. while I personally wasn't able to try it, I heard a lot of good things about the snuggly duckling! the royal banquet wasn't bad, but they only have two 3500 yen set meals, so the snuggly duckling offers a lot more flexibility & options! You're not required to leave the area after your three hours are up, but they lock you out of doing anything else, so you'll eventually run out of things to do. I believe your only foods options at that point will be the roast beef popcorn or the cardamom meat bread! I highly recommend bringing outside snacks or food if you're planning on staying until night! I do think things are extra bad right now simply because the merchandise was also JUST released yesterday. Once the merch crowd calms down a little bit, I don't think it will be as extreme. At least I hope so!!!
