Fast forward three months, and CMMG sends me their 12.5 inch version of the MK47 Dissent in a pistol configuration with a beautiful bronze color. Though this Mk47 dissent is more or less the exact same as the previous Mk47 in terms of. features and looks, having a shorter barrel does change how the gun shoots. There is a little more recoil, but the gun wields so much better now. I'll take that with the slight increase in recoil any day. So come along as I explore this new 12.5-inch Mk47 Pistol from CMMG. Also, it baffles me how often I've seen people try to use actual AirPods as hearing protection on the range. Airpods are not designed to protect your ears from the decibel levels of gunshots.
