With the right mixture of raw materials, it can reduces the surface tension of oil itself and when it is washed with water, these oil can be washed away! These are the main uses of Dishwashing liquid : Cleaning hairbrushes and combs An effective stain buster Get rid of fruit flies Silence squeaky doors Degreasing kitchen appliances Clean air conditioner filters AND MANY MORE!! So here's the Raw materials, Equipment and Procedures: Raw Materials: • SLES • Sodium Chloride • Concentrated Foam Booster • Scent • EDTA • AntiBac • Coloring • Neutralizer • Preservatives Equipment: • 7 liters Wilkins bottle (2) • Pail • PVC • Plastic • Thin rope or Straw Procedures: 1. Fill the two 7 liter bottle of Wilkins with mineral water and then set it aside. The mineral water will help the detergent live long without worrying that the detergent will smell stuffy. 2. In a pail add SLES. It’s the chemical agent that helps the whole liquid foamy. 3. Next add the sodium chloride (salt), which helps to thicken the liquid. 4. Mix the two together and stir it until the two binds with each other. 5. After, add about 6 liters of mineral water and stir it until the former components is fully diluted. Do not pour the whole water continuously as it will be hard for you to stir it well.. 6. Add the remaining half water in the first Wilkin bottle and stir continuously. 7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 gently as to not spill the detergent. 8. Then add the foam booster for a minute or two. As the name suggested, it boosts the foam or the lather of the liquid. In this part the liquid will slowly thicken. 9. Next is to put the concentrated degreaser for two minutes, it’s the one responsible in removing grease and food particles on the utensils. 10. Add the EDTA (use to bind the raw materials together) and stir it for a minute. 11. Then add the AntiBac and stir it for a minute. It helps to fight germs and bacteria. 12. Next is to add the preservatives and stir it for two minutes. 13. After stirring, add the neutralizer to neutralize all the material all together. Stir it for about a minute. 14. Next is the most exciting part as we slowly pour our coloring, you have to shake it well before pouring it. Stir it until its spread evenly until the bottom of the bucket. Although the coloring doesn’t have any cleaning effect, its use is to give the image of the scent we will use. The one we have is color green as to match our Calamansi scent. 15. And lastly, add the Calamansi scent and stir it for at least five minutes. Be careful in stirring it as to not spill any liquid. 16. Using the rope and plastic cover the pail and let it rest for 24 hours.
