The cooks realized that the rice and food prepared in the kitchen were not enough to serve everyone. They became worried because it is a sacred duty at the temple that no devotee should go hungry. The head cook prayed deeply to Sri Raghavendra Swamy at the Brindavana (samadhi). According to the story: The cooks returned to the kitchen and found that the rice and food in the vessels had mysteriously increased. Even though they kept serving continuously, the food never seemed to reduce. Every devotee present that day received prasada fully, and still some food remained. Devotees believe this was the blessing and miracle of Raghavendra Swamy, showing that anyone who comes to Mantralaya with devotion will never go hungry. Belief among devotees 🙏 Because of such stories, many devotees say: The Ghee Vessel Miracle 🪔 Many years ago during a large festival, the temple cooks were preparing prasada for thousands of devotees. While cooking, they suddenly realized that the ghee (clarified butter) was almost finished. Without ghee, the prasada preparation could not continue. The cooks became worried because: Devotees were waiting for food. There was no time to bring more ghee from outside. So the chief cook prayed sincerely at the Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. What happened next According to temple tradition: The cook returned to the kitchen. When he opened the ghee vessel, it was completely full again. The cooks continued cooking and served all devotees without shortage. Devotees believe that Sri Raghavendra Swamy himself blessed the kitchen, ensuring that food for devotees never stops.
