Madeira food is simple but delicious and Madeira Portugal is famous for its simple ingredients made into delicious dishes, especially seafood. I have been meaning to visit this Funchal restaurant for a long time because it is always packed with locals. I start with the local soup which was delicious. But the highlight was the octopus, it looked great on the reviews and oh boy did it live up to expectations. One of the best Octopus I have had in a long time. Dessert was a Madeira food legend, Passionfruit pudding, his mum's recipe. The food is incredible, but above all, the friendly service is what makes this tiny restaurant special. You must eat here in Funchal because it is my favourite food in Madeira.
