The Financial Supervisory Commission and the Ministry of Finance are contemplating requiring this feature in all ATMs. If you’re wearing a face mask or helmet, the machine will display a notice and may refuse to dispense the money. To combat fraud, some banks have installed AI facial recognition systems in their ATMs. Only after confirming that the face is unobstructed will it remit cash.
