Judge Won’t Let District Fire Teacher For Criticizing Charlie Kirk

A judge in Iowa has issued a temporary injunction preventing a school district from firing or in any way retaliating against a teacher who criticized Charlie Kirk after his death. The teacher had made a post on social media about Kirk after school hours from her personal account at her own home, but the school district was trying to oust her for clearly exercising her First Amendment rights – something that Kirk himself had defended endlessly. While the ruling is only temporary and the lawsuit is still pending, the judge made it clear that the teacher is almost certainly going to win at trial.
