In February of 2023 after eight months of being owned by CSX, one of the more noticeable operational changes occurred as the M426/M427 symbols that had previously been used between Selkirk and Rigby Yard were extended to Waterville, ME. M426 and M427 still seem to swap consists at Rigby and layover awaiting the next crew, but the CSX power continues on east to Waterville now allowing for some new opportunities for shot and in recent weeks some daylight runs. As of now no timetable changes are official yet so I will still be referring to the lines as Pan Am District 1 and District 2, and other symbols such as locals and yard jobs are still going by the old Pan Am ID on the radio as well. Trains Seen: M426 with CSXT 485 - CSXT 12 - CSXT 464 in Auburn, ME and Greene, ME on 2/19/2023 including a long rail train for the mainline east of Waterville. M426's power from the day before heading light into Rigby Yard after leaving their consist at Cook's Crossing on 2/21/2023. The full lineup is CSXT 475 - CSXT 8822 - MEC 7518 - MEC 7575 - CSXT 2791 - CSXT 4236 - CSXT 1209 - CSXT 2060 - MEC 507. M427 with CSXT 485 - CSXT 7206 - MEC 7643 and 103 cars passes through Morse Rd. in New Gloucester on 2/25/2023 after meeting its counterpart M426 at Blake.
