This run is quite bad but whatever... I did not record this with the intent of speedrunning. I recorded this run just to show how you're meant to play "storm escape" boltslinger. I think you'll notice right away that the storm escape cycle isn't actually used that often. I often opt for storm storm shield rather than storm escape because legendary island bosses don't have a lot of health and so cycling storm storm shield will likely kill them before my mana runs out. Storm escape is a more useful cycle against bosses like The Nameless Anomaly (actually that is probably the only boss it is super useful for). Storm escape is still utilized when the mana bar gets somewhat low. There are certain times where cycling storm storm escape is very useful... for example the Virus Doctor fight. With better leap, storm storm escape functions as a way to hover over the boss' head without having to deal with the minions. The downside is that air mobility is quite bad and Virus Doctor can still hit you... although not as much as compared to if you were on the ground. The build I used is definitely not the strongest Boltslinger Freedom build. I chose it since its cheap and probably represents the kind of stats most people are going to get on their builds.
