This is how I load and unload my R1250GSA using a scorpion motorcycle ramp and a black widow pro motorcycle chock. I absolutely love how the scorpion motorcycle ramp folds into a small footprint. It has wheels for easy moving and its very light. My truck is a 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT/Chevy Avalanche with 189,000 miles. I fully rebuilt the suspension myself. The bed is a short bed only 5 foot 3 inches long. GM has rated the tail gate to hold 1200lbs the avalanche/escalade ext use the metal cables this is before they switched material to the newest 2014 silverado+. The Escalade EXT and Avalanche are no longer made, these trucks are off production now but in my opinion remains one of the best used trucks out there on the market due to them not using leaf springs and using coils with autoleveling suspension. The truck delivers a smooth ride.
