Part 4 of this multipart video series on the 37 km iconic gravel road to 'Die Hel' includes the section from the 23.6km mark to the 28 km point and includes the 3 most difficult water crossings - In this video which was filmed in the dry season, the crossings don't look like much, but in the wet season, many a 4x2 vehciles have had problems at these crossings. The road, officially known as the Otto du Plessis Road, is generally known as the Gamkaskloof Road or The Road to Die Hel. In good weather and when the road has not been subject to water damage, it can be driven in a normal car, but a high clearance vehicle is a much better option. It's best to watch this series in the sequential order to gain maximum value and preparation if you intend driving, riding, walking or running it.
