I owe this cover of Taylor Swift's song "Mean" to my amazing fans! (I do not own the rights to this song, and intend only to use it for artistic expression and bullying awareness, I respect and love Taylor Swift and her music immensely) Thanks for your patience and your support. Thanks to all those who submitted a video, and the lovely Brittany Adams (@brittany_adams3). And finally thanks to my sister who recorded the guitar track (I'm not quite good enough to do it myself yet) and who helped me film this video and put it all together; she is my angel ;) I prerecorded the track on my computer so that it would make it easier to shoot outside, but beyond that, it is entirely my voice you are hearing. I had an incredible time shooting this video, and am fully aware that it is goofy, and cheesy and ridiculous, but more importantly, it has a message. Stand up to bullying! Be yourself and follow your dreams because you never know when you'll end up in a big old city, with that bully left far behind you.
