Welcome to a "Special Edition" of Ryan Flys. A year ago today I posted my first video for the build of my airplane. I figured what better timing than today to post a look back at the progress thus far. Nearly every element of build is captured, albeit at a much quicker pace than usual. It's incredible to look back. Some of it seems like yesterday, some of it like a long-ago memory. I hope you enjoy this abbreviated version of my history. A lot has been happening in the garage! ------------ I'm Ryan, an aviation enthusiast who has decided to build his own aircraft and publish the entire process online for others to watch along. If you have ever want to build an airplane, this is a great glimpse at what it takes. The airplane is a two-person experimental kit built aluminum plane capable of over 200 miles per hour, and a range of over 700 miles. The kit is manufactured by Van's Aircraft, one of the most prolific kit providers on the planet. The airplane is aerobatic, functional, and fun.
