Day 1 in Torres Del Paine National Park

First day of my camping trip in the beautiful Torres Del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Chile. Today I'm doing parts of the W trek, in the Cuernos sector. I didn't go far as I started my day late... I was planning on doing the famous W trek, but unfortunately due to park regulations the trail is closed to visitors without guides in september (opens in October). The upside, is that I had sections of the park pretty much all to myself ! I camped for a few days in the central location of the park near the restaurant. It was very cold at night in the tent, and windy during the day, but the sun and the beautiful weather made it totally worth it, and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Special Thanks to the Kusanovic family who owns the hotel and different cabins, and also happened to be my host during my stay in Patagonia. This first day in the park is very special to me, because it's the day I found Jesus... It's only a few days after Charlie Kirk's assassination, I had a lot of emotions bottled up, and I finally let it all out. I found myself and god in the middle of the wilderness at the end of the world. And I am forever grateful because it changed my life. I am born again.
