A brutal murder in Karnataka's Kopal district on August 3rd has sent shockwaves across the country. A 26-year-old youth, Gavi Siddappa Valmiki, was brutally hacked to death around 8:30 pm. Police investigations indicate the murder was pre-planned and executed with a sharp-edged sickle. The incident is linked to a personal rivalry over a relationship. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. During initial questioning, the prime suspect, Sadi Kolkar, confessed to committing the murder. He stated that he and the deceased were both reportedly in love with the same girl, which led to the gruesome act. Preliminary inquiries confirm this reason.
