How to: we fix our 20 year old VW T5’s saggy headliner!

A guide on how to re-trim a T5 or T6 headliner. A common problem with a lot of early T5’s is the glue fails on the headliner which leads to sagging material. After a fair amount of miles and use they also tend to get pretty grubby due to their very light colour. We use four way stretch carpet lining to re cover and tidy our van. Matching the rear roof panels as well. After a good tidy of the rear and a carpet line out in black using the factory style clips we also fitted VanShades black out blinds in fern green which help keep the van warm and the light blocked out when down.
