First USPSA Competition

This was my first USPSA competition and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Stepping onto the stage, hearing the timer, and pushing myself outside my comfort zone showed me real quick what I need to work on — movement, transitions, stage planning, and staying calm under pressure. I went into this match not expecting to be perfect, but expecting to learn. Every stage was a lesson, every mistake was feedback, and every run gave me something to improve on. That’s what it’s about — getting 1% better every time. The best part? Doing it with good friends, pushing each other, laughing at the mess-ups, and celebrating the solid runs. Competition shooting is intense, but it’s also a lot of fun when you’re surrounded by the right people. This is just the beginning. I’m going to keep training, keep competing, and keep documenting the journey as I work to get better.
