⚡️About the album Visceralofobia. Today I’d like to take a moment to talk about Asseptic Room’s second studio album, Visceralofobia, released in 2011 through Advoxya Records, under the guidance of Dmitrij Szmirnov. It was a very special record for me, but also one of the most challenging in my career. After Morbid Visions, I felt the need to move away from more direct or accessible formulas and dive into a more visceral, open and risky territory, both sonically and emotionally. The creation of Visceralofobia was deeply marked by a very difficult personal period. At that time, my main concern was my partner’s health, and music inevitably took a back seat for long stretches. Even so, the album eventually came to life, although I’ve always carried the feeling that I couldn’t fully develop it exactly as I had envisioned. Some works are inseparably tied to the moment in which they are created, and Visceralofobia is certainly one of them. The album features fifteen tracks where creativity flowed without stylistic boundaries. Songs closer to the classic DNA of the project such as Visceralofobia, Skin and Bones, The Black Door or Falsas Palabras coexist with more atmospheric and experimental pieces like Human With Radiation, Turn Back to Die, Anguish Under Tyranny, The Shame or Under Seele. All of this shaped by the influence of bands that have always been a strong reference for me, such as Suicide Commando, Infact, Wumpscut, Skinny Puppy or The Klinik. Over time, I felt I still owed something to this album. Years later, with Mario already part of the project, we decided to revisit some of these songs and rebuild them as they truly deserved. This led to the creation of the EP Visceralofobia II – Twisted Tracks, a way to reconcile with that period and finally give these compositions the strength and sound I feel they were always meant to have.
