First Time in EDINBURGH | Scotland Travel Vlog 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

48 hours in Edinburgh, from hiking Arthur’s Seat at sunrise to spooky ghost tours by night, this trip had everything! ✨ Our day started super early (for us anyways 😂) with a 6 AM flight from London Gatwick to Edinburgh, followed by picking up our rental car from Green Motion (the shuttle bus is free, super convenient!). 🥐 First stop in the city was breakfast at The Edinburgh Larder / Little Larder, the perfect way to fuel up before our morning hike, where we finally tried some Haggis. ⛰️ Next, we headed to the iconic Arthur’s Seat. The hike took us just over 40 minutes to reach the top, where we were rewarded with incredible panoramic views of Edinburgh city. 🍻 After hiking, we wandered back into the city centre to explore some souvenir shops and grab drinks at The Mitre Pub. We had such a great time meeting friendly people from Florida and Scotland while soaking in the cosy pub vibes. 👻 In the evening, we booked a spontaneous City of the Dead Tour right after dinner. Speaking of dinner, we went to Fazenda, and it was absolutely divine! 💯 If you’re looking for places to eat in Edinburgh, we can’t recommend it enough! ⚡ At the end of the vlog, you’ll also see us coming back to Edinburgh after climbing Ben Nevis in Fort William. We couldn’t leave without visiting the real-life inspiration for Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter films! We also tried to stop by The Milkman Coffee Shop but unfortunately it was closed. We stayed at: The Village Hotel Edinburgh, just 15 minutes from the city centre. With a gym and spa on site, it was the perfect stop for our trip! We only stayed one night before heading off to Fort William for more adventures.
