Here is my GBA cover of 'Fire Emblem' from Super Smash Bros. Melee. This track is a mix of the recruitment theme and the title theme from the first Fire Emblem game, Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. These tracks are commonly known as 'Together, We Ride!' (FE7) or 'Come, Join Us!' (FE1, FE3, FE11, FE12) and the Fire Emblem main theme. The song also features in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii U and 3DS (Smash 4), and Smash Ultimate. Super Smash Bros. Melee is a 2001 crossover fighting video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. It features characters from Nintendo video game franchises such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Pokémon, and Donkey Kong among others. Melee provided the first exposure to the Fire Emblem franchise to audiences outside Japan, specifically through the inclusion of two playable characters in Marth and Roy. When choosing the Temple stage, holding the L and R buttons during the loading sequence will cause the normal Temple soundtrack to be replaced with a medley known as "Fire Emblem". The track is an orchestrated remix of two songs, the first being the "Character Recruitment" theme from Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light and Mystery of the Emblem, followed by the main theme of the Fire Emblem series. The song also plays while attempting to unlock Marth and Roy, and when playing certain event matches with either character. This cover was made using the soundfont of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Gameboy Advance. I used AnvilStudio and FEBuilder in order to create this. The track is fully usable in potential ROM hacks. Credit for the original midi goes to shinys123 on Musescore.
