It's another film photography on location video! This time, I'm shooting black and white and Kodak Portra. This particular outing challenged my metering and gave me so much hands-on training that I felt way more confident coming down the mountain afterward. Because the situation was very high-contrast (bright overcast skies and dark shadowed hillsides), I had to make adjustments and find balance in how I exposed my film. It's something that I would not have felt capable of doing without the training course I went through by ‪@nickcarverphoto‬. He is a master teacher and meterer (not a word.)
