This is the second half of a lesson from an earlier upload, with riders who have completed their CBT. We are working on their machine control and riding procedures prior to transferring onto the DAS big bikes. Demonstration ride from 11-14 mins. This is for basic procedures including mirrors, signal, lifesaver position. Time stamps: 00:00 Moving off procedures & passing parked vehicles. 00:40 Left & Right turn procedures, & braking procedures. 01:45 Planning for junctions. 02:22 Gear changes. 03:08 Roundabouts. 03:52 Left turn planning. 04:07 Lane position after passing parked vehicles. 04:11 Braking for slow approach to junctions. 04:37 Left turn roundabouts & left turns. 05:26 Right turn into side roads. 06:03 Braking and positioning for traffic light junction right turn. 07:08 Planning for bad surfaces & position when stopping behind vehicles. 07:50 Tight turning (look where you want to go). 07:57 Acceleration after junctions. 08:17 Planning for tight bends/corners. 09:02 Speeds for turning left or right. 09:26 Right turn procedures. 10:36 Clutch control for right turns. 11:15 Demonstration ride for basic left & right turn procedures & planning for hazards. 12:18 Timing passing parked cars. 13:01 Passing parked cars with a junction on the right. 13:20 Left turn demo. 14:06 Right turn into a side road demo. 14:55 Be prepared to stop for a junction without a view. Safety comes before view. 19:00 Give way to oncoming traffic when turning right at traffic lights unless you have a filter arrow. 19:37 Changes of speed limit.
