/ thegunviking Today I’m stretching my BRNO Model 2 out to 265 yards using vintage Lapua Master — the old Finnish production. The varnish on these rounds has gone a bit “crispy” with age, but they still print surprisingly well. With a Meopta Optika6 4.5–27x50 mounted, I’m shooting at Champion DuraSeal spinners and a few golf balls for fun. Add rain and a steady, gusty wind into the mix and every shot becomes its own little drama. What to expect: A nostalgic run with classic Lapua Master that somehow performs despite its age. Multiple attempts on spinners and golf balls at long range — watch the misses, the near-misses, and the satisfying hits. Commentary about how the rifle and ammo behave together in tricky weather and windy conditions. If you like rimfire experiments, vintage ammo stories, and seeing how far a well-set-up rimfire can be pushed — this one’s for you. Drop a like, subscribe, and tell me which shot you want a slo-mo of in the comments. Take care, and shoot straight ⚔️ 1.
