This 1972 GMC Jimmy 4x4 not only has a rugged look and capabilities but it comes with modern comforts and convenience, making it the perfect vehicle for both off-road adventures and cruising around. This GMC Jimmy is powered by a strong 454 V8 engine that has been rebuilt for great performance on and off the road. The V8 has a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, TRW flat forged pistons, an Erson roller cam, and a 4-core aluminum radiator. A new high amp alternator and a heavy-duty driveshaft have also been installed. Have fun grabbing some gears with the 4-speed Muncie manual transmission paired with a Centerforce dual friction clutch and 4x4 capabilities including new Mile Marker locking front hubs that ensure that this truck is ready for any terrain. The truck has been lifted for added ground clearance and Rancho dual stabilizer shocks have been added for enhanced stability and control while driving down the highway. All brakes, belts, and fuel lines were recently replaced and the 14-bolt ¾ ton rear end has been rebuilt and comes equipped with 3:73 POSI gears. Chrome Rally-style wheels have been added and fitted with 33x12.5 Firestone Destination tires, giving this Jimmy a classic yet rugged look. Inside the cabin has been outfitted with modern Tahoe seats including the seat belts. The rear seats have been installed along with the quick-release hardware so the seats can be folded down or removed as needed. A black powder-coated roll cage has been added for safety and style. Dynamat sound dampening has been installed around the base of the interior of the truck along with all new black carpet installed throughout the cabin. This Jimmy has a Bluetooth stereo system for listening to your favorite tunes on the go. A brand new R134 air conditioning unit has been installed for year-round comfort. With its double insulated top and the new weather stripping the A/C blows cold and keeps the cabin nice and cool during those warmer months. The top is also removable for open-air enjoyment. Behind the 3-spoke classic steering wheel is a new original factory-style gauge cluster with an odometer showing 1,242 miles. These are the miles that have been put on the truck since its rebuild.
