Wow, the Howard sisters hit different this season… I may have the most unpopular opinion on Lexi. On the one hand, I understand why so many viewers like her. Because she's probably the most realistic and relatable character of Euphoria. One of those people that you can easily associate with. A simple teenager who goes to school, rides a bike and in the evenings flips through photos of cute dogs on Instagram. In fact, I myself was like that: while my friends went to parties and started romantic relationships, I played in the theater, read books, watched TV shows and dreamed of becoming a director. So when I saw that funny scene with Lexi on the imaginary set, I literally wanted to yell at my laptop screen, "Same thing, girl!" But on the other hand, Lexi's PLAY. I know that many people support and enjoy this play. Lexi herself claimed that she did not want to hurt anyone, but anyway, she did it. I think the problem is that Lexi was selective in portraying the characters in the play. The stories of Rue and Maddy were touching, but Cassie's story... Oh boy, that was cruel. Lexi humiliated and made fun of her own sister in front of the whole school. Each appearance of Cassie's character on stage caused laughter in the audience. Cassie was laughed at in an evil way, as a frivolous, vapid, comically stupid girl who did not deserve to be sympathized with. Lexi deliberately exaggerated her sister's personal qualities because, in my opinion, deep down she wanted to be cruel to her. That's why she included this EXTREMELY embarrassing carousel scene. Cassie has always been the most beloved child in the family. She received much more attention and admiration (sometimes undeserved) in her address than Lexi. But let's be honest: it's not Cassie's fault. This is the fault of their parents. I read an interesting opinion that Lexi turned out to be a trickster. But I don't think Lexi is a trickster.
