In this video, we study the dance-drama masterpiece Funa Benkei ("Benkei Aboard Ship"), created in 1885 by Kawatake Mokuami for the actor Ichikawa Danjūrō IX. Note: Mistake at 1:49, the text should read "the shōgun Minamoto no Yoritomo" (thank to @KorKhan89 for catching the error!).
