Megalit is a puzzle-strategy game developed by ASCII Corporation and published by Takara for the Game Boy in 1992. The game challenges players to solve increasingly complex puzzles across six rounds, each divided into five stages. The objective is to reposition blocks so that each piece touches the ground without breaking, requiring careful planning and precision. The story revolves around a wicked witch who has cast a spell on princesses, elves, and fairies, turning them into stone. The hero, also turned into a stone statue, must solve the puzzles to break the spell and restore peace to the kingdom. The game features two difficulty modes—Easy and Quest—with Quest Mode adding a time limit and rearranged puzzles for an extra challenge. It also includes a password system, allowing players to resume their progress.
