Ferrari F40 LM - Special IN DEPTH Look at a Unique Car

The Ferrari F40 is a special car, the F40 LM on another level. The F40 was the final car Enzo Ferrari signed off before he died, when he did, one has to wonder if he knew he was signing off what many consider not only as one of the greatest Ferrari's, but one of the greatest drivers of cars of all time. The F40 was never meant to be a race car, but Ferrari decides to take 19 production cars and hand them to Michelotto to develop them for race use due to customer requests. Later 27 further F40's were converted to 'LM' Spec with kits purchased from Michelotto by private teams. Although the F40 LM did not have official factory assistance during its racing career, the car did achieve notable successes against the factory backed Porsche's and McLaren F1. This F40 LM is unique, it's is car 18 of 19 produced, this car has never been raced and at the time of writing had 200 km on the clock, effectively making the car new. The car was delivered to a collector in California, USA and later made its way to Tokyo, Japan. At the time of writing, this car was for sale at JD Classics in the UK.
