Cody Harman, 31, of Auburn, California, was born female but is now a transgender bodybuilder who spends his time helping others reach their fitness goals. The fitness trainer's transition journey began in 2014 when he started gender hormone therapy. He than underwent a mastectomy and hysterectomy and later a phalloplasty procedure. He said: 'It was important to me because I felt it was the last piece of the puzzle to really complete or really align myself, just to feel comfortable in my own self and my relationships.' Since then, he has been documenting his transition on his YouTube channel, Cody_Talks, where he details the stages of his journey in order to raise awareness and help others going through similar situation. He said: 'Self-acceptance and happiness is way more important and people are going to see your truth. They are gonna see your happiness and that's the most important thing in life.'
