Cades Cove Mountain Dulcimer and Bowed Psaltery

Rudy Ryan and I spent the day at Cades Cove and also had a short morning hike on the Jake's Creek Trail. We stopped by the old Primitive Baptist Church. Rudy had his dulcimer and I had my bowed psaltery with me. It sure was nice to sit and play some music and just enjoy the day. Winter is a great time to visit there. The leaves have fallen, but that just opens up a whole new view of things. Our three songs are "In the Sweet By and By", "In the Bleak Midwinter" June Goforth's arrangement, and "Heartbeat" a song by Susan Trump. Thinking of our friend June today and how much she has done for the Knoxville dulcimer community and has touched so many of our lives.
