Sources have confirmed that the military is trying to find a way out of the impasse, a direct result of months of unrest and a crackdown against Khan's supporters, despite which, Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf political group's independent candidates were able to emerge as the largest political group in parliament, far ahead of the military backed PML-N ,PPP and MQM.
