How To Change The Band On The Fitbit Charge 2 | Switch Accessory Bands | STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL

How to change the band on the Fitbit Charge 2 is what we look at in this video today. We show you how to quickly remove the band and attach a new band, so essentially switch accessory bands. In the video, we look at replacing the bottom and top section of the green band with the corresponding sections of the purple band. Maybe you're replacing your Fitbit strap because it is broken or simply fancy a Fitbit strap change, and are replacing it with another band. Whatever the reason, this video will show you how to switch accessory bands on the Charge 2, step by step. 🔶 REMOVAL OF EXISTING GREEN WRISTBANDS / HOW TO REMOVE FITBIT STRAP - PROCESS 🔶 1. Turn Fitbit over with the back of the watch facing you in preparation for the band removal. 2. Support Fitbit tracker, holding the top section of the band in your left hand and the watch face and bottom section of the band in your right hand. 3. To remove the top section, push down on the metal release button as shown, pushing the strap away from you and pulling the main clock section of the watch and bottom strap towards you. The band should release easily. 4. Turning the watch 180 degrees, support the bottom section of the band in your left hand and main clock section in your right hand. Again, push the strap away from you and pull the main clock section of the watch towards you. The strap should release easily. 5. You should be only left with the main watch section as shown in video. 🔶 HOW TO ATTACH A NEW BAND ON YOUR FITBIT CHARGE 2 - PROCESS 🔶 1. Hold the main watch clock section in your right hand and top section of your new band in your left hand. Note - to avoid fitting the strap upside down, the watch button should be facing you (on the left side of the tracker screen), and the band located as shown in the video. 2. Align the top part of the strap and main clock face section as show in video, pulling the strap towards you and pushing the clock section away from you. As you're doing this, you should see the release button move out slightly and then click into place when the band has been fitted correctly. Check the band is firmly secured to the main body of the tracker. 3. Turn the watch 180 degrees, supporting the newly fitted top part of the strap and watch section in your right hand and hold the bottom section of the band in your left hand. 4. Align the bottom part of the strap and main clock face section as show in video, again pulling the strap towards you and pushing the clock section away from you. As you're doing this, you should, once more, see the release button move out slightly and then click into place when the band has been fitted correctly. Again, check the band is firmly secured to the main body of the tracker. 5. That's it, your new watch bands should be fitted and you're good to go.
