Therefore, feel very welcome to our Holy Chaplet of Divine Mercy! In this novena cycle of the HOLY ROSARY OF MERCY, meditating on the SACRAMENTS OF THE CHURCH, we will reflect today on the Anointing of the Sick. The sacrament of Anointing is a sacrament of mercy, granted to priests and by priests, who offer the anointing to the sick. This is the sacrament where sins are forgiven and the working grace of God happens in the life of those who request the anointing. There are many people who suffer and who need the comfort that we can offer. Therefore, my brother and sister, we fulfill God's will by also showing solidarity with the sick, with those who are suffering. Today, in this Chaplet of Mercy, let us ask for the grace of health of body and soul for our lives and for the lives of those who are sick.
