2006 Mersedes clk 350 roof locking cylinder seal replacement and pump bleed/fill . In this video I Describing how to replace leaking seal in roof locking cylinder, I used 2mm drill bit to to get snap ring out ( forgot to mention in video wen you are drilling move cylinder push rod in after you opened a bleeding screw on pump) then I used same 2mm to all way fry on pressed retainer (don’t need to drill all way fry specially with any thing thinker then 2mm ) then I used 1/8 drill bit to remove the retainer as I described in video, one more thing, I used electrical tape to on rod to slide new seal in with same pump oil, and make sure to smooth out any scratches on cylinder itself were retaining clip going (Very important) other way you will damage new seal. I got the rebuild kit from Amazon. One more very important thing wen you bolt back cylinder Bracket make sure bolts going to Exactly back to mark/print from bolt head; (bracket is adjustable and you don’t need to if you get it back to same position) other tip is get new or at least Squeeze down two body nuts on top cover. I made that video because all videos I have watched about this repair is more kind of how not to do it. The only trusted videos are from TOP HYDRAULICS but they don’t have video about rebuilding cylinder, and I’m wrong about pump fill in this video, later I made other video with correct information.
