The Mysterious Gods of the Ancient World | Ancient Religion Documentary

This video will go over some of the gods from the Ancient Period. It is not mythical storytelling, but more of a historical look at them. We start in Africa, with Egypt a main focus. We then head to the Levant and the Semitic pantheon of the Canaanites, before looking at the Minoans and Mycenaeans. Heading east, the Mesopotamian (Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian) pantheon is next. Then the enigmatic Indus Valley Civilization deities, and the early Vedic pantheon, before ending with the Chinese Shang and Zhou. We obviously couldn't get every single one of the thousands of gods, but we do plan to make more videos about Ancient Religion!
