His sets lean groovy, funky, and playful—driven by a love for stripped-back rhythms and a soft spot for 90s and 2000s references with hints of hip hop , breaks and UKG. After spending time in the UK, he returned to Taiwan and slowly started finding his voice in the local scene. Over the years, he's played a wide mix of spaces—from pop-ups and small rooms to festivals like Ultra Taiwan and S2O. Under his former alias Take Note, he also played shows in Amsterdam, Japan, and Hong Kong. These days, his focus has shifted. Moving away from darker sounds, DZRT FRST is more interested in keeping things light and fun—following his own path in a minimal house while still leaving room for surprise and spontaneity. “I’m just trying to make and play music that feels good,” he says. “No big plan, just trying to stay consistent and enjoy the process.” While some past releases have found their way onto charts and into the press, DZRT FRST is more focused on what's next than what’s been.
