Rare Snow Transforms Zion National Park - Zion Canyon Scenic Drive Utah

In this video we drive Zion National Park after a rare snowstorm in the desert park. We start off on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive which is only open in the winter months to private vehicles. From there we drive Utah Route 9 from Springdale eastbound through the park to the East Entrance Station. We then jump back to the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive and head in the opposite direction before driving westbound on Route 9 and ending in Springdale. Snow melts quickly in Zion, and a lot of the snow in the southern facing areas in the park was already melting in the sunshine when we recorded this drive. The area east of the Zion - Mount Carmel tunnel is a higher elevation and has the most snow.
