Danses de Llum XR is an artistic and technological project initiated by ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture and developed in collaboration with ARRAN D’ARREL, a cultural cooperative specialized in traditional dance and contemporary pedagogy. The project explores new ways of activating and transmitting intangible cultural heritage through the fusion of Catalan traditional dance and Extended Reality (XR) technologies, focusing on collective, embodied and participatory experiences that move away from isolated, individual uses of technology. This video presents a summary of the first public preview, held on December 4th at ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture, where the project was activated for the first time in a real-world context. The session allowed the team to test the prototype, observe audience interaction, and validate a multi-user XR experience centered on shared presence, intergenerational participation and collective embodiment. Through footage from the preview and interviews with the artistic and creative team, the video documents the research, creation and development process, as well as the project’s conceptual and methodological approach, placing the body, community and technology at the core of the cultural experience. El projecte investiga noves formes d’activació i transmissió del patrimoni cultural immaterial mitjançant la fusió entre la dansa tradicional catalana i les tecnologies de Realitat Estesa (XR), apostant per experiències col·lectives, corporals i participatives que s’allunyen dels models de tecnologia individual i aïllada.
