Various of Aleksiyevich signing autographs, surrounded by fans and flowers STORYLINE: After winning the 2015 Nobel Prize for Literature last week, Belarusian author Svetlana Aleksiyevich was greeted by several hundred fans at Minsk airport as she returned home from Stockholm in Sweden, where she received the prize. Showered by flower bouquets, Aleksiyevich signed autographs and spoke briefly to the media. Writer and journalist Aleksiyevich is the first Belarusian to be awarded a Nobel Prize.
