CRH Serbia - Partner in Strategic Projects

CRH Serbia is part of a leading international group in the field of building materials . Cement plant in Popovac near Paracin and concrete plants in Krnjaca and Dobanovci produce and deliver first-class materials for construction and maintenance of infrastructure, residentaial and commercial projects. Realization of this capital highway will improve the level of services, speed up the traffic in transit and increase the flow of international trade and passenger transport. Works on Corridor 10 through Serbia have been organized through four projects : Project BYPASS Belgrade Project NORTH (from Horgoš to Novi Sad) Project EAST (from Niš to the border with Bulgaria) and Project SOUTH (from Niš to the border with Macedonia) Construction companies from Serbia, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republik, Greece, The Republic of Srpska and Bulgaria have built on Serbian sections of Corridor 10: modern highway with six lanes, ancillary trunk roads, traffic loops, supporting walls, tunnels, two hundred bridges and overpasses. Project East of Corridor 10 is one of the routes in Serbia with the highest frequency. For the most part, highway E-80, 87 km in length, is already in function, and till the end of this construction season remaining works on sections of the Project EAST will be finalized. Construction companies which conducted works on construction of the Eastern stretch of Corridor 10 used CRH products for the following sections: Prosek-Bancarevo Tunnel Bancarevo Crvena Reka - Čiflik Čiflik-Staničenje Staničenje - Pirot East Pirot - Dimitrovgrad Tunnel Dimitrovgrad Works on the Southern stretch of Corridor 10 are in their final phase. After finishing one of the most complicated sections of the road through Grdelicka Klisura gorge , a 96 km long route of the E-75 highway will run from Grabovnica to the border with Macedonia. CRH products have met the highest standards of the demanding construction process of Project SOUTH, in the following sections: Grabovnica - Grdelica Grdelica - Predejane Tunnel Predejane Predejane - Caričina Dolina Caričina Dolina - Tunnel Manajle Tunnel Manajle Tunnel Manajle -Vladičin Han Highway Vladičin Han - Vranje Construction works on a very important road in Monte Negro are in progress. Construction of the highway Bar-Boljare started in May 2015 and is expected to be completed by 2019. The plan is to build 42 tunnels and more than 90 bridges and viaducts along the Monte Negro highway. Moračica Bridge is one of the most demanding objects on the route Bar-Boljare. The bridge 1 km in length will be supported by pillars up to 180 m in height. A Chinese company which is in charge of the implementation of the whole project uses CRH Serbia materials and services.
