Hilton Frankfurt Airport - Executive Room

Room tour of a Executive Room, the Executive Lounge, the lobby and the fitness-centre of the Hilton Frankfurt Airport. The hotel is connected by a covered walkway to terminal A and a short ride by the connecting train to terminal B. Next door is the Hilton Garden Inn; both hotel share the fitness-centre. The hotel has a large atrium-stlye lobby with glass roof. Some of the rooms as well as the executive lounge face the atrium. Those rooms are in my opinion brighter than the one of the outside of the building given the style and design of the hotel. The rooms are well soundproofed and there is no noise from the airport or the atrium; the downside is no window could be opened. Bathroom are large, but there is a frosted window to the room. Bathrooms come with bath and shower. The rooms appear a bit cramped with the rather large arm chair and the desk; but it is nice to still have a real desk and a real desk chair. The lounge is open from 07:00 to 21:00 with breakfast being served in the restaurant for those with access or Hilton Gold / Diamond Status. In the eving hors d'oeuvres are served between 18:00 and 20:00 with usually two hot dished and some fingerfood, cheese and bread. Wine, beer and spirits are also available. There is a fitness centre with Sauna and steam bath on the top floor. While the gym is open 24/7, saune and steam bath are open from 17:00 to 23:00 and quite small. Locker rooms are available. The fitness centre is not that large, but the machines are modern.
