625 Protection Paladin⏐The Underpin(??)⏐Let me Solo Him⏐11.1⏐31st of March 2025 Let me solo him - done 31st of March 2025 - TWW Patch 11.1 Lvl 80 Brann DPS Automatic Footbomb Dispenser (4/4) Bombs are easy and fun, problem is that their damage goes THROUGH the shield. So even though the damage is increased during shield, they don't damage the shield itself, just Underpins healthbar. Also Brann and Bioprints can run over them, increasing their damage, cause scaling! Utility Curio - Three Dimension Bioprinter (4/4) Biggest problem is getting it to proc, but once you do it's a lot of damage for the rest of the attempt! Paladin rules utility! You have quite a lot of choice within movement speeds and defensives! You can easily heal Brann and protect him(he needs it!). Tips and Tricks You want when he uses shield to keep him near the edge so that his oil spill isn't going to impede your movement! Also, the 5 "friends" he calls in, they after a few wipes spawns outside the arena and can't be dealt with! To fix this, reset the delve. Fixes it for an attempt or 2! And be careful of Brann's positioning, he can really mess things up. Because of bombs sometimes being unable to be clicked under boss, I suggest making an "interact" key-bind. Game Menu - Options - Keybindings - Search for "Interact". Now assign a key and enable it. Now you can mouseover the bombs and hit that key. Best way to deal with his 5 cronies is to move around to get them to stack as close as possible. You want then to hit the middle one, then the bombs will damage all 5. Keep rotating/kiting/keep boss near edge. Adds spawns around him but cannot spawn on/near corpses(which takes some time to vanish). Otherwise they'll spawn spread. Brann TP's to you if more than 50 yards away. Should be less but it can help with control of the fight. If you're using the "three dimensional bioprinter", I'd suggest proccing it ASAP. so hit 1 bomb if it deals 50% of their hp and you yourself get them lower. Or use 2 bombs if it deals 40% and quickly damage some of them to make sure you get both! Movement is key! Like Demon Hunters dashes and Vengeful Retreat! Be fast with bombs, either to get them away from you or onto the cronies. He takes 100% more dmg during his shield. And if it doesn't break he'll heal 25%. I tried with Templar, and I am pretty sure at higher levels, it's the better option! Always having Eye of Tyr into Hammer of Light for shield is on paper very strong. But at this ilevel I just didn't have the numbers to make it work. So I went Lightsmith. Avenging Wrath carries you through every other shield phase. For the other half you'll struggle at this level. That's why the on-use damage trinkets. Without I was cooked! If you look at my protection paladin talents, you'll notice, they're very supportive. And that's because Brann takes so fucking much damage. Keeping him alive is another challenge in itself! I kept the damage talents that provided me with the most damage/burst and then swapped over into making my healing stronger. It worked, and you can do it, but it's going to be a long and slow fight! Each Shield phase is a victory and every % off the boss is a step closer to end a miserable fight! It might honestly be worth it, in hindsight, to remove Sanctified Wrath and instead take Moment of Glory for the half where you don't have Avenging Wrath. It's already so darn powerful! I just love this effect! And it procs rather often! Stats: A lot of haste and then a decent amount of the other 3 stats. I might be completely off with stats. But it ended up working! My trinkets are: 1) Mad Queen's Mandate. God it helped a lot. 2) Ratfang Toxin. My new favourite trinket, also helped a lot! Embellishment: Elemental Focusing Lens!
