Besides traveling the world as a longtime band member of Candy Dulfer, Dutch singer/keyboard player Roger Happel has been hosting jamsessions in the Amsterdam area throughout his career. With his inner circle being a who-is-who of Dutch A-listers, these sessions have always been long standing series of memorable nights. While being the sympathetic master of ceremony, Happel leads his sessions with joy and soulfulness. Between 2000 and 2007, Roger's homebase was the cosy Café Meander in the heart of Amsterdam. Situated on the dancefloor in the middle of the club, surrounded by the audience chilling on beanbags, these Sunday night shows were intimate souljams where top notch singers and musicians casually joined. A true 'musician's musician' with a reputation for letting other artists shine, Roger Happel is joined on most of the songs in this recording by the ever funky Candy Dulfer.
