Being involved in a project like this fosters our interest in space and potentially answers the many questions we have about Australia’s wattle. As young scientists, we have been educated to run fair experiments with a high level of accuracy. We understand the importance of treating both the control seeds and the space-exposed seeds consistently and would ensure our measurements are specific and precise. Paying close attention to the validity of our data would be a priority. Our curiosity would not end when our part in this experiment is over. Following these seeds on their journey from germination to fully grown wattles being distributed across Australia is a chance for us to take our part in history.
